Helen Jenkins
1st Vice-President
Mrs. Jenkins is a native of Staunton, VA the fourth child of the late Joseph and the late Priscilla Ellis. Helen accepted Christ as her Savior as a pre-teen and became a baptized member of the Mount Salem Missionary Baptist Church of Staunton, VA. She graduate from the Booker T. Washington High School of Staunton, VA in 1962.
Sister Jenkins is the loving wife of the Reverend Frank Jenkins, Sr., the Pastor of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Pensacola, FL and the First Vice-President of the Florida General Baptist Convention, Inc. They have been married since April 28, 1963, and are the proud parents of three sons and two daughters and eight grandchildren. Sister Jenkins is a very faithful member of her church (Mt. Olive), having served as President of the Missionary Ministry, Director of the Youth Commission, and is a current Sunday School teacher. She is very active in the local Baptist Association, have taught the Minister's Wives class in the Monthly Workshop. She is very faithful in the State and National Conventions, always exemplifying a thirst for Biblical Knowledge/Spiritual growth, attending classes and workshops.
Sister Helen J. Jenkins is currently serving as the First Vice-President of the First West Florida Baptist District Woman's Auxiliary.
